If your team creates slides, announcements, or graphics in Canva, you can import them directly into LightLoop without downloading and re-uploading.

Connecting your Canva account

  1. Click your profile picture → Integrations
  2. Find the Canva section and click Connect Canva
  3. Authorize LightLoop to access your designs (read-only)

Importing a design

Once connected, you can import designs in two ways:
  1. Open your design in Canva and copy its share link
  2. In LightLoop’s Media library, click Import → Canva Link
  3. Paste the link and click Import
  4. Choose the import format: Image or Video

Option B: Browse your designs

  1. In LightLoop’s Media library, click Import → Browse Canva
  2. Browse your Canva workspace — designs appear in a grid
  3. Select a design and click Import
  4. Choose the import format: Image or Video

Import formats

FormatBest for
ImageStatic slides, announcement graphics, title cards
VideoAnimated designs, motion graphics, countdown loops
Canva’s video export includes animations and transitions. If your design has animation, import as Video.

Re-syncing a design

If you update a design in Canva after importing it, you can re-sync to pull in the latest version:
  1. Find the item in your Media library (Canva items have a Canva badge)
  2. Open the detail panel
  3. Click Re-sync from Canva
The item is updated in place — it stays in all playlists it was already added to, and the Apple TV re-downloads the updated file automatically.

Disconnecting Canva

  1. Click your profile picture → Integrations
  2. Click Disconnect next to Canva
Disconnecting removes your authorization token. Previously imported Canva items remain in your library — they’re stored in Google Drive like any other file.
