### Import Songs & Charts by Drag-and-Drop <span style={{fontSize:'0.7em',fontWeight:600,background:'rgba(108,141,255,0.15)',color:'#818CF8',padding:'2px 8px',borderRadius:'100px',marginLeft:'8px',verticalAlign:'middle'}}>New</span>

Drag chord or lyric files into the Media Library (or onto a playlist) and LightLoop parses them — **ChordPro**, **OnSong** (including chords-over-lyrics), **CCLI SongSelect**, and plain text, several at once. Files with chords import as a **Song**, taking the **title and key** from the file (or the filename) and keeping CCLI/copyright/tempo metadata out of the lyrics. Files without chords prompt you to import as **Song lyrics** or a **Sermon** — for sermons, mark scripture by putting a `[John 3:16]` reference above the verse text.

### Instrumental / Karaoke Tracks <span style={{fontSize:'0.7em',fontWeight:600,background:'rgba(108,141,255,0.15)',color:'#818CF8',padding:'2px 8px',borderRadius:'100px',marginLeft:'8px',verticalAlign:'middle'}}>New</span>

Remove the vocals from a song's audio with a single **Instrumental** switch on the Audio card — great for congregational singing, rehearsals, and "vocals out" moments. Switch on and LightLoop generates the instrumental in the background (about a minute) and starts playing it on your outputs automatically; switch off to restore the original vocals. The original audio is always kept. It also works **with transposition** — the instrumental is built from the current track, so it comes out in your transposed key.

Change a song's key without re-recording. Open a song's **Audio** card and click **Transpose** — pick the *from* and *to* keys and LightLoop pitch-shifts the track to match **while preserving its tempo**. When you assign audio, LightLoop also **auto-detects its key** in the background. The original file is always kept, so revert is one click. Turn on **Sync to Audio** and the stage chord chart's display key follows every transposition automatically.

### Chords on Stage — ChordPro & OnSong with Smart Key Detection <span style={{fontSize:'0.7em',fontWeight:600,background:'rgba(108,141,255,0.15)',color:'#818CF8',padding:'2px 8px',borderRadius:'100px',marginLeft:'8px',verticalAlign:'middle'}}>New</span>

Add inline **ChordPro `[chords]`** to any song and they render above the lyrics on stage and confidence displays — the TV Wall **Stage Display** and the iOS Remote's **Stage Mode** — while the audience screen stays clean, lyrics-only. LightLoop reads the chords and **detects the key** with real music-theory scoring, using the dominant chord to tell a key from its relative minor (`Em C G D` → G, `Bm D A G…` → D). Set a separate **Display key** to transpose the whole chart on the fly; chord charts and the "Next" preview transpose too.

**Paste a [ChordPro](https://www.chordpro.org/) or [OnSong](https://onsongapp.com/docs/features/formats/onsong/) chart** and LightLoop imports it: chords-over-lyrics become inline chords, `Verse 1` / `Chorus:` / `REPEAT CHORUS` section labels are recognized (dim cues on stage, hidden from the audience), and `Key:`/title metadata is read from the header.

A new **Overlay** playlist item action floats a layer in a corner above your content (above everything but a countdown banner). Three types: a **Watermark** image (logo/sponsor/"live" bug, with opacity), a **QR Code** from any URL (custom colors + caption), or live **Weather** for a US ZIP code (°F, refreshed every 60s). Choose **This item** or **Until cleared** so a watermark can ride across a whole playlist until you hide it. Renders on Apple TV, TV Wall Program output, and the shared preview page.

Attach files to any playlist — lesson plans, game ideas, print-outs — from the **Share** dialog. Anyone previewing the playlist sees a **Downloads** list on the preview page and can grab the files before pressing play, no account required. Attachments work with both **Public Preview Links** and **Share with Another LightLoop Account** — when a playlist is shared to another account, its files travel with it.

A new **Sermon** content type lets a pastor or presenter build an entire teaching, talk, or presentation as one item — an ordered list of mixed **slides**: styled text/notes, scripture (from the Bible integration), full-screen media (image/video/audio with blur fill, trim, and stop/loop/advance), and intentional blank slides. Add a **Background media** behind text slides and a **Title media** for blanks. Build it in the drag-and-drop **Sermon Builder** (drop files between slides, ⌥↩ to split text), then advance slide-by-slide from the iOS Remote. Renders natively on Apple TV and in TV Wall mode.

The Bible translation picker (Media Library and Sermon Builder) now offers a second source — the **Free Use Bible** library — below the YouVersion presets. Choose **Free Use Bible (all languages) — search…** to search **1,200+ public-domain and openly-licensed translations across 1,000+ languages**, many unavailable elsewhere. A reliable fallback when a YouVersion translation is temporarily unavailable, and the way to display non-English scripture.

Drive **four independent 1080p outputs** from a single Apple TV using a low-cost 2×2 HDMI wall controller. Enable **TV Wall Output** on any feed, then assign each quadrant: **Program Output**, **Stage Display**, **Media** (independent looping image/video), or **Empty**.

Overlay quadrants render song/Bible **Lower-Thirds**, plus an **Overlay Alpha (DSK)** mode that outputs the lower-third as a solid-white fill matte on black for downstream keying in ATEM and other switchers — so one Apple TV can feed your audience screen, a confidence monitor, and a livestream key/fill at the same time.

Reusable, per-user templates for song and Bible lower-thirds, built in a **visual drag-and-resize editor** on a 16:9 canvas. Define text zones (Bibles get independent reference and verse zones) with shrink-to-fit text, full styling, per-zone box backgrounds (color, gradient, or looping media), borders, corner radius, padding, and transitions (cross-dissolve, directional, or cut). Optionally hide the overlay when there's no text.

It counts down live each second and can run into overrun. Stage Display quadrants also gained a live **clock** and an optional mirror of program countdown banners.

A free iPhone and iPad app that connects wirelessly to a nearby Apple TV running LightLoop. No account required — connection happens automatically over your local network using Apple's Multipeer Connectivity framework.

**Control Mode** — browse all playlists, tap any item to trigger it on the Apple TV, and monitor a live 16:9 preview of the TV output. Song items expand inline to show all lyric slides; Bible items expand verse by verse. A timeline scrubber handles video and audio seeking. On iPad, the preview floats as a picture-in-picture panel over the full grid, or expands to full width above it.

**Stage Mode** — a large-text confidence display for worship leaders and speakers. The current slide fills the top of the screen; the next slide or item is previewed below. Navigation via tap zones, swipe, or Bluetooth page-turner (arrow keys and spacebar). On landscape iPhone, the current slide goes fullscreen with a next-item strip at the bottom.

**Multi-device sessions** — connect multiple iOS devices simultaneously. A common setup: iPhone as operator controller in Control Mode, iPad as confidence display in Stage Mode. All devices stay in sync and any device can send commands.

A new media type purpose-built for worship lyrics. Create a song in the web-based Song Editor — type your slides, link an audio track and background, then record timing markers in real time or fine-tune them in the Marker Editor (an interactive waveform timeline with drag-and-drop handles, zoom levels, and ¹⁄₃₀ s arrow-key nudging). On Apple TV, lyrics cross-dissolve in sync with the music.

**Requires Apple TV app version 1.1+.**

Full style controls: font family, size, weight, italic, all-caps, color, alignment, vertical alignment, drop shadow, text stroke, and a text background color/opacity for contrast over busy visuals.
